Any type of external hard drive or flash drive that I plugged into this laptop immediately had it's partitions deleted and the was formatted RAW and would not function until you reformatted it from THIS machine. I ran several tests with several different types of external mass storage devices and had the same result EVERY time. Do NOT plug in any device to this laptop until you have first backed up your data somewhere else. This is a MAJOR thumbs down for this model.Overall Review:as long as you start with blank external media, i guess this computer isn't too bad.
